Meet Karlyn Nelson

While serving the greater LA area, Karlyn Nelson is a neighborhood expert in Mid City, West Adams, Jefferson Park and South LA. She lives where she works and is passionate about helping buyers find the home of their dreams, while partnering with homeowners to navigate the selling process, so it's as seamless as possible.

After purchasing two homes in six years, running marketing for her late husband, realtor Tom Lind, and writing about Mid City and South LA neighborhoods for the blog, www.MidCityBigLife.com, she became a Realtor herself and hasn’t looked back. She was the top realtor three years running at her last brokerage and continues to break new personal goals at Compass.

Prior to real estate, Karlyn spent 20 years in advertising and entertainment. She is a breast cancer survivor and a fierce advocate for mental health, actively supporting LA’s Didi Hirsch Mental Health Services and the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. But her most important job? Mom to her amazing son, Theo.
